The second half of the Botanical Gardens in Balchik, Bulgaria, check out the first half.  The entire property was the Palace of Queen Marie of Romania.  Her property included several palaces and villas that were used by her court and family.  The property includes a massive wine cellar, a performance hall, and an incredible conifer garden with over 100 species of evergreen trees. Built on a Black Sea side cliff one of the gardens resembles the hanging gardens of Babylon. At the base of the ledge is an incredible rose garden and bath complex.  The palace itself is memorable for its mixed religious symbols including many christian crosses and its iconic minaret. Queen Marie was of a Bahá’í Faith and openly shared her beliefs
